There is an updated partition? It seals out water better?
Do you have a link to any information about the improvements please?

Yes there's an updated part with wings to direct water. If you buy from dealer, FCP, ECS ect it will be the updated part

You did maintenance on your vac pump I see. What is the part number for the o-ring in the vac pump? In RealOem I see the one that seals the pump to the engine but not the one for the outer cover to the pump....

I am refurbishing my vac system and replacing these seals seems good preventive maintenance.

My vacuum pump gaskets started leaking after I did the VCG which was interesting. I guess the new VCG sealed everything up and the next weak point was the vacuum pump gaskets. I got mine from DUDMD

Many thanks!

Ordered them today. I replaced all three pressure converters and two vacuum valves (and all the rubber hoses). Hope to get the top side back together this weekend and test the car before crawling under it and doing transmission service/oil change and look at replacing the motor mounts.

Very useful to have a source for the pump seals. Thanks again :-)

Autocrossed the X5d a couple weeks ago a local track. Upgraded suspension definitely made a big difference in turns

It's been awesome! Only complaint is it lacks a light sensor other than that it's been flawless. I bought a GPS splitter and auxiliary mic.

Here's a video on it

Hey Sunny are you selling your original steering wheel? I just boght a 2010 X5D last week with the base model steering wheel, looking to upgrade to the sport steering wheel you had, or a F series sport steering wheel. I'm also in Vancouver btw.
