I found this along with a PDF with N55 diag codes. Supposedly it's knock. See post # 5 Can you post the full hex code? 02XF x.x.x. If you reference the N55 document you can see a list for all the 0X2F codes. It's all ignition or timing. If you can grab the exact hex code you'll nail it done. 100%

I just looked up the 2F7E code, The results were DME:Engine switch off-time, plausibility
There was no fault code description, it is possible that if I had the last 7 of your VIN that it may come up with more information. Generically it comes up with no fault code description.
It appears it could also be a Superknocking faults as well.
