X5 35d won’t start after news injection and adaptations

So a little history. My 2010 x5 was a victim of water contamination. So after cleaning every fuel line possible including the tank and pump screen etc.

New injection pump
6 Bosch reman injectors
Fuel rail Pressure sensor
Water pump/thermostat/belts while I was in there

After replacement it did start but ran terrible. And flooded cylinder 6 with enough fuel it wouldn’t crank

Pulled the intake and glow plugs. Cranked it to clear the cylinders and reassembled

Got ISTA+ installed, using k+Dcan cable programmed new injectors and reset adaptations except mean injector something and incremental wheel failed<-can’t remember the exact names

First issue as soon as ISTA+ started its connection and vehicle check it killed the FRM, so that sucks but shouldn’t effect starting/running correct?

So then I attempted to start it again. It started, ran really rough. And died. Now it just cranks. Sometimes can hear it starting to fire but nope.

I don’t know where to go from here. Hope someone has some advice

SO whatever caused this "water contamination" didnt do any other damage?

Like a killed the high pressure fuel pump?

It did damage the pump which in turn clogged the old injectors.

That’s why I said “new injection pump” also call HPFP

My bad, missed that.

Any chance you have a bad injector? Who rebuilt those and are you 100% sure they are good?

You can likely recover the frm with ista-p.

I don't get why 6 flooded the cylinder. You can try starting with 6 electrical disconnected. But it's a new reman, so it shouldn't leak down...?

flooding cylinder 6 seemed very strange to me too. that was before any coding was done, I cant imagine the injector volumes being off that much but idk.

I bought them from rockauto, they are bosch rebuilt with all new bosch parts. I ALMOST just bought new for extra security but they should be tested and passed.

Any way of checking the injectors?
Does the return outlet on the injectors show any insight of whats going on?

Read something about coding AAAAA5G if injector coding failed. was going to give that a shot and see what happens.

If you have some more insight on recovering the FRM that would be greatly appreciated its like a Christmas tree of fault codes with that thing out. It is RED on ISTA now.....

I read the EEPROM needs to be reflashed with a XPROG for ISTA to see it again maybe no?
I currently just have a amazon K+DCAN cable

Just coded every injector to AAAAA5G. No change.

Ista-p will detect it and recommend programming. There's also an extended warranty on it bmw-rp.com but you have to do it at the dealer. Don't tell them you coded it or use ista, play dumb.

Injector coding shouldn't cause no start. What's your rail pressure when cranking

Yeah I saw the extended warranty on it. Maybe send my wife with it to bmw to tell them her blinkers aren’t working....lol

On my generic obd scanner it’s showing around 40000kpa

Still getting familiar with ista. Not sure where to read rail pressure with it?

Also it sounds like it almost wants to start. Just not quite enough. And after cranking I’ll see some exhaust come out of the intake tube.
