Bad injector or what caused no engine start
4330 DDE: Rail-pressure control valve, activation 4BA2 4BA2 Injector, cylinder 2, injection quantity compensation 4CEE DDE: Injector, cylinder 2, injector-rate adjustment The car is cranking but no start. Never happened before. Is it because of the injector 2 based on error above? If I replace the injector, will the engine get started? Should I replace all injectors since the mileage is high and its life time is about to end? Is the first error 4330, has relation to the rest two errors or not related? If not, how should I fix it. I don't see much info online talking about error 4330. Thanks. |

When you leave it for 3 months, is it on a battery charger? Check your injector wiring to see if an animal chewed on it.

Very good call.
Ive read elsewhere that due to Covid and lack of driving, there are a ton more 'animal damage' complaints popping up on all car models.... |

Thank you guys for the reply. But I don't think its animal damage for my car since I'm passing by the garage everyday. There is also mouse trap in the garage. I got my car hooked with battery charger. So battery is also not the issue.
I had glow plug #2 circuit open before. I doubt it's the carbon buildup made injector 2 also collateral damaged... Will one injector cause the engineer not starting? Does anyone know what is 4330 DDE: Rail-pressure control valve, activation? Thanks |

Not to be snarky, but are you hoping to fix this from the keyboard without opening the hood?
'Walking past' is not protection from rodents. Heck, in Colorado, they get into cars when they are parked at an office building in 6 hours! Open hood, removed covers, look. |

As the injector codes are for quantity compensation (not typical short circuit) most likely the code for rail pressure valve is causing too low rail pressure for start. So check the rail pressure valve and its wiring at the rear end of fuel rail.

I'm trying to find a more concrete solution before open the hood again. I was replacing the glow plug and gaskets. I had manifold opened and closed many times so it may snap or pushed the rail pressure valve...
Thanks for the info Clavurion. |

I reconnected the rail pressure valve connector. It was loose. So that resolved the issue of not starting the engine.
But I still got those 2 injector errors. It seems it need get coded? |

Check the injector nr.2 connector first. Then check the injector correctional values with diagnostics.
