2013 E70 X5 35i N55 fuel issue
Ok, short of the long...
Have changed valve cover gasket. Went to start, runs like crap, engine malfunction error along with "- 2BEE: high pressure, fuel, plausibility, cold start. Pressure to low." Have changed the HP fuel sensor, changed out the HPFP (its the little cam roller type), changed the fuel tank pump, still same issues. I bought a NT510 and took live FP readings: - Rail Pressure - 179 psi / - Rail pressure, nominal value - 1087 psi (fluctuates). (not sure what the difference between the two are.) There is a choice in the NT510 to see LPFP; it stays at 96psi. Don't believe there is a LPF sensor, but its showing up. This veh does not have the FP reg. I checked fuses 105 and 122, both good. I put a light probe on the tank fuel fuel pump connector and noticed its not priming. It only gets power when cranking and running. I thought it was supposed to prime when opening the door. Is there a way to test the HPF sensor with an ohm meter? That was the first issue, I broke it putting the valve cover on, its been doing this since. Any ideas? |
