yup, I do have it, but is it the new version? It does work pretty well for me, but I can't figure out what the symbols are! I'd be nice to tell be about them when I don't have route guidence activated...

It is nice. I never knew what it was till I got my E70.

It actually helped me out once already showing up on my navigation map and sending me around backed up traffic from an accident.

If you get the HD radio the feature is not avaialble.

The upgrade hasn't been deployed yet, not sure when. Your point about the symbols are valid, so check out the link below that I started on another board. They weren't in the manual, so BMW must have overlooked it.

Actually you can tell where the traffic is without having to have guidance on. Just use a higher perspective like 1 or 2.5 mile and if there's traffic, you'll see the symbols. Thats why I've been saying how useful it is as a daily commuting tool, and with the upgrade coming, it'll get even better.
