I think when Lawrence posted the following he did not specifically mention that the Invision headrests do in fact tilt forward and back, while mentioning that they will "still go up and down". I think the OP took that as meaning that they will ONLY go up and down and NOT tilt forward and back, even though it should have been assumed from the previous posts that they do in fact move forward and back. So he thought why spend money on the Invision if it still does not address his problem of tilting forward and back. I think it was a misunderstanding on the OP's side, but he still didn't have to respond the way he did. Here's Lawrence's quote:
"My INViSiON Headrests will fit into the E70 Perfectly and will still allow movement of the acuator. Meaning...it will still go up and down. ...." -As far as the OEM BMW headrests go, if they are like the non-Comfort E60 seats then they will tilt forward and back form the bottom instead of the traditional way of tilting from the top (meaning that they are hinged at the top instead of the bottom). I find this weird, and it may have worked well if they moved forward more, but the movement is not enough. -On the E60 you can't put the comfort seat headrests on the sport or standard seats because the posts on the comfort headrest are of a bigger diameter, and they may even be spaced apart differently. I assume it's the same with the E70. -The two hidden "flush" button that someone mentioned are only for the comfort seats and move the top third of the backrest forward and back (at least on the E60). Since the headrests are attached to the top of the seat if you tilt the top section of the seat-back froward it will obviously bring the headrest forward as well, but these buttons do not move the headrests forward and back by themselves, it is only a side-effect of moving the upper seat-back fwd/back. By the way, on the E60 Comfort seats you can't tilt the headrests forward and back either, but they are already more forward than the standard headrests and they do have the two swing out wings on the sides.

I think the E70 headrest posts are the same diameter on all seat variations, but Law would know for sure.

14mm & 16mm THe BMW OEM sizes are 13.8mm and 15.8mm exactly...you can use a micrometer if needed to measure to know exactly which kit is needed. Thanks, LAW
