I also understand V25 screwed up RTTI, there has been 2 updates since and the latest version is at least V25.2 which fixes the problem.

Looking forward to the pics!! Maybe I can use my backup camera's improper color portrayal as a reason to upgrade!

So here we go:
You will see the I drive main menu much sharper in my opinion
The icons are different in the menus
It is MUCH MUCH FASTER in response everywhere and in all transitions
You can now search by POI's as illustrated
The white line indicating guidance is now THICKER and more obvious
The resolution of maps is much better.
Other than this the pop up arrow issue IS addressed and is fine now ( which is why I got the update )

Any questions ..let me know and I will do my best to answer:

Thanks for the update!!
You mentioned in an earlier post "a few new layouts", can you show us those?

The search for POI looks a bit awkward...is it easy to search, or do you have to dig deep into menus?

Do you use Bluetooth? Have you noticed any improvements?

Thanks again...BTW is it Thursday already in Canada

EDIT:
One more question-
What is your build date?

Thanks for the update, nice to know my April build X5 will have those feautures and graphics. Why are the ventilation and seat heater settings duplicated (already controlled by dash controls) in I-Drive or is it not duplication.

Yeah..was excited to share the pics....My phones in for repair so havent had a chance to check if any better.....the search for POI is very easy....information - -on location/destination --choose the required info so business/restaurant etc and then the search screen comes up for you to search by name or just search.
I meant the main menu for Idrive for layout change, and its not very significant but the look of ALL pages is different, a little colour change, some background pattern...not really worth putting up.
Hope that helps !

By the way...I think you mentioned DS mode was awesome fun on your car.....I experienced the same today....just 300kms to break in and I wanted to push it a little....amazing fun !

I heard on another board that some are not seeing any speed improvements w/ the update...and they are speculating hardware differences might be the cause. My build is Nov 06...so hopefully we have the same hardware and I see the same speed improvements too.
