yes the X5 does not handle windy days very well...yes I too experienced this. On a windy day you can feel the X5 pulling at speeds over about 75-80 mph.

I am not sure if the orginal poster is asking about cross buffeting of winds or torque response and gearing at higher speeds.

I have no issue with either. I have no tracking issues and when speeding up the tranmission drops down a gear and off I go.

oh..you mean pulling from left to right. Sometimes the higher profile does act like a sail in stiff crosswinds.

The CHP might tolerate 75...might. But 80, it's a certain ticket. Although the #1 lane is known as the fast lane, even the CHP has it's limits.
