I do not think this feature is on the 07. I know on a hill it automatically holds when you take your foot off the brake (no button pushing needed), but on level ground I do not think there is any such option. Even if it was, I would think it would be dangerous to have since your foot my graze the gas pedal and you might hit the car in front of you. No chance of that when it's resting on the brake pedal.

mine will be delivered on tuesday. I will ask the sales guy if it has the auto hold. I paid lots of money for all these packages so it better be there. We get dinged with pricing in Canada.

Im excited for my new truck though.

I think you also had this question when I had asked it before in another thread.
I really do appreciate all the information I find on this forum, although this file is hard to read.
SuperGreg has previously posted the Bamboo info and I just confirmed it in another post.
Bluetooth has not been answered yet and the dealer I spoke to doesn't know. I'm guessing it's either standard (but not listed anywhere) or part of BMW Assist. 2007 had "BMW Assist with Bluetooth". 2008 just says "BMW Assist".

I am thinking to skip Premium package (since just about everything I need is available in base car) and just pay for leather separately if Bluetooth is already in the car. I dont see a need to spend about $1300 difference for all options in performance package. They are all nice, but not enough of value to me.
Bluetooth is a requirement and if I have to take Assist, then might as well get the rest of the Premium package with all the goodies.

^ it's very easy to skip the premium package now.

For the extra $1300 (leather being the remaining cost of the package), you're getting ambient lights, garage door opener, compass, and bmw assist. Worth $1300? Not really. I really do want the ambient lights though and after spending $55k on a higher-class car, I may just have to do it anyway.

Hey rh71... I think I agree with you. At this point, sure they might not be worth it, but to add a nice touch... why the heck not, right?

Hmmm......am I looking at the right pricelist for the 2007? I am clicking on the Sticky that says 2007 pricing and I see that some of the options have increased in price now (see my first post in this thread).....yet more than one of you are saying that the only change is the price reduction on the ZPP.

Is the 2007 price list in the sticky not accurate?

ZPP Premium Package is the only significant change. There are other minor changes to HD Radio, Rear Climate, and Premium Sound based on what I remember. The 2007 prices that I've been using have been those on BMWUSA.com (when building a X5 4.8i).

I have the PDF files that display the options, their prices, and which models they are available on.

I sent them to SuperGreg (who must be on a date or something - A definite no-no when info is coming hot off the presses) to black out the source and post online. Please look for them within the next few hours...

Signed,
