+1 on all counts, with my 535. I will try the procedure of leaving the key fob in the car next time.

I have keyless in my Lexus LS 460 and don't have any problems with it. I hope they have the bugs worked out before I order my diesel X5...

Maybe I'm not gripping it right? I have been trying to touch the grooves and the handle at the same time. I tried the rear door last night after I couldn't get in the drivers door. I know I grabbed the handle for the rear.

Thanks

Mine is just fine, pressure on handle to open, touch grooves to open, all with the transmitter in the pocket. Maybe swop the transmitter to the pocket that will always be closer to the car? Except for you all with handbags?!!

i have no problems using comfort access now...it's been great so far!

but... one thing to keep in mind.... during the first two days as i was figuring out everything i did notice it wasn't allowing me to consistently lock and unlock the vehicle with the keyfob in my pocket..

i then noticed that in order to unlock the vehicle i had to wrap my hand around the door handle and hold it there for a half second..

to close it i swiped my index finger across the top of the ribbed sensors on either door handle (from right to left)

i get perfect results each time!!

Other than the times your hands may be full, it does seem silly to me. After all, how difficult is it to take your key out? Now I need to make sure the key isn't buried in my bag and pay attention to how I have to grab the handle. If I'm going to take it out anyway, I may as well use it

Good point. If everyone was to read it, the forum would be a lonely place!
