"What grade of petrol should I use?"

Back on topic though, I always just grab the inside of the handle like I normally would. The doors unlock in a split second and I pull. To lock, I just put my finger(s) on the ribbed portion until the thing locks. If I need to roll the windows up (convenience close), I hold my finger there.

I only use it to lock the doors, almost never to unlock. I usually use the unlock button on the key ahead of time to "pre-boot" my X (see the other thread I've started on that finding).

My mother and I have never had any issues with Comfort Access. My father, however, doesn't seem to have "the touch". He can never get it right and gets frustrated when it doesn't work on the first try. I think figuring out the right touch takes some getting used to but once you have it down, it's a breeze. There are a few times where I have to pull the door handle twice before it unlocks but it's never bothersome.

My mother, the primary driver, seems to have a bottomless pit for a purse. She can NEVER find her keys! If only we could get Comfort Access at our house (she's already asked!), then she will never need to find them!

I picked my car up ten datys ago. After 3 days the comfort access stopped working...they replaced the antenna and it's worked fine ever since.

I have a feeling this is how I'll end up using my comfort access. Click the unlock from my pockets and I'm set. Not only for the pre-boot but also the ambient lights outside for when I'm ready to get in. They would be a waste otherwise having to walk up to the car and touching it before those things come on.

The fact that I don't need the key in the ignition or ever need to deal with keys to lock it are good enough for me. Keys in the pockets all the time anyway.

My car does the same thing. I also agree with someone else that certain cell phones block the signal. I've found that my plastic phones don't block the signal as much as my metal Nokia phone (when they are in the same pocket as the key).
