odometre

is there anyway you can tamper with the odometre ? like make it stop working for about 50-60 kms and then let it start again ?

what equipment is that ?

i just want the metre to stop working for about 50-60 kms and then start working again

I realize you are in the UE, but in North America that is illegal.

It's not so simple.

The ODO is stored on the key, but it is also stored in multiple control units throughout the car.

My service manager told me that it was also stored in the control unit for the sun roof, central locking etc.

I dont know if he was telling the truth, but I think he was!

I heard that you could drive that in Reverse and then the mileage would go down.
