Forced induction you say
Besides a chip I haven't seen headers or intake (I know intake isn't forced)
What forced induction do they make for an 07 3.0si

By forced induction I mean a Turbo or Superchager. I know they made an S/C kit for the 330i, which has the same base engine as the 3.0si, just slightly less powerful. Other than that and what you've mentioned, maybe a sprint booster?

True. I end up hooking them to the plastic thingy on the sun visor. Sometimes the glasses fall...

IMHO - Love my 2012 BMW X5, but....
I hate the
  1. Automatic door lock! When I grab the handle to open the door, it locks. Then I have to release the handle and try again.
  2. The factory GPS! What a &*^% waste of $ and space, basically a pos. I just got it to get the BU camera.
  • takes to many steps to try to enter destination
  • 80% of time it can't find POI (Like the Wegman's that has been in place for over 10 years)
  • finally the price of the data update! For a little more I can buy a TomTom with lifetime updates. And don't start - Yes I will stick a TomTom in a $60K SAV right above the factory GPS.

Thanks for a place to vent

Too many pages to read them all, so here are my annoyances:
1. DVD entertainment screen position. Folded down, it blocks center console lid and my elbow wants to rest on the end, not comfortable. Folded up, I hit with my elbow all the time.
2. Accelerating smoothly from stop is difficult (4.8i).
3. Exiting vehicle over running boards and trying not to wear out seat or scratch sill.
4. Yes, brake dust. But, I can fix that once extended maintenance plan expires.
5. Run flats. Other than when you need them.

The backup camera on my 2007 X5 is useless.
