exactly 6 miles on mine...

and it's true...if you're having other third-party options installed (like tinted windows) you may see a few more miles on it as it goes back and forth to these other locations...

20 is really not that bad if you've had other things done to it...

I agree with 'Stang, though there is also the possiblity that an occasional car gets pulled and "test driven" further ...
this from memory of an info post long ago.

Either way, I would not blink an eye over it...22 miles? How hard could they have driven it, regardless of who it was.
No biggie, imo.

it would be very unproffessional of the dealer to use your vehicle for test drives. my salesman mistakenly let me drive a 3.0 that had been sold and the sales manager called him on the phone within about 1.5 minutes. we promptly returned to the lot.

mine had 17 when i picked it up.

i hate to add to your paranoia, but maybe the Tech found something in the PDI and he needed to road test the vehicle.

call your salesman and ask him why the extra miles.

Thanxs everyone for the replies. Yeah. Under 10 sounds more reasonable to me (preferably around 5). All options and packages weren't third party. The factory tint that's included with the Rear Climate Package should be done at the factory, no?

Well. It takes only a few seconds to redline a car. That's my definition of driving a car hard. With this statement I'm contradicting myself because a 4 miles car could be "driven hard" too. I'm really too paranoid about this aspect though.

I'm curious as to how they actually drive/test the car during the PDI though.

I redlined our '01 when I drove outta the lot; the 5 speed manual has
a stump puller first gear; 65K miles & 6 1/2 yrs later, it still runs like a top...
the rev limiter kicks in pretty damn quickly.

I can't recall the post, probably from back on the RoadToad days,
but someone had a seemingly informative post that every X amount
of Xs get taken for a spin at the S'burg factory. I know an occasional Vette
gets test run 20-40 miles too, in Bowling Green, KY.

Yes, I agree that you are too paranoid, ...drive the sumbitch and
enjoy it and, put it out of your mind, imo.

My car had 7 miles when I picked her up. I think 22 miles is little high for a custom built car. Maybe the stealer let someone test drive your car before you picked her up. Based on what I understood fr. a fleet manager where I bought my X5 from. He said, the stealer will not allow any sale guys to test drive any car that sold already, but not pickup by the customer yet.
