My Dunlops had about 6K miles when I replaced them. My guess is I'd be lucky to get a total of 12K miles out of them. The new Michelins should last much longer (and they cost a little less).

Don't get the Latitude's, that be a waste. Go for the Advans or Diamaris.

I don't mind the Dunlops. I need to replace the fronts, but I don't see why I should have to change out all 4 just to go with another brand. Seems like a waste of dough to me.

I've only driven an E53 with Diamaris a few times and didn't find them noisy. They're a great tire; very good with steering input, responsive. For a street vehicle, ultimate grip shouldn't be a concern, esp in an suv. I hear the Advan's are good too. Supposed to be a softer compound so it might affect wear. Should be something you can easily check on tirerack. |
