And that's what makes the whole thing suspicious....

If it were 2009 and you were questioning a 2008 model, I would say this is the best deal anywhere. 2007s were 1st-run models and I've heard of people with anomolies here and there.. creaking, fitment, electrical issues... sometimes firmware updates don't fix everything. Test drive it, thoroughly. It seems they want to get rid of it bad enough because of the nice discount, so they shouldn't have a problem with you going over it with a fine-tooth comb. Play with everything. Drive it with the radio off too.

guys don't take the zero miles so literally.. it might have a few because of transport in/out ...

regarding all these issues that you guys are talking about.. should i still be concerned even if i have the warranty and the service package?

It all depends on whether you are okay with the car POSSIBLY being at the dealers a lot. If they give you free BMW loaners, then you should be fine. It's all a trade-off.

You are making a BIG investment and you don't want to regret it later.

its amazing how these troubles grow with every post....now the 2007's have "anomolies", damn I wish I had one of them, sounds sexy.

Research how good/bad the BMW service in the country of your residence. If it is good, and they offer loaners, road-side assistance, etc, I'd consider it. The early 2007 models had lots of bugs, so expect to see things break down (thus you need to figure out how easy it will be for you to service it !)
