Do you know the part number of your flashlight and can you post a photo of the unit? The p/n should be inside the barrel when you remove the battery.

You'll probably have to buy it. There was an SIB stating that they are no longer included so the dealer doesn't have to give them to you for free.

For the 2010, where is the flashlight suppose to be? Underneath the cargo floor in the rear? Cause I see an empty spot next to the front tow hitch adapter.

the elcheapo BMW flashlight ....

come on guys .. buy a decent flashlight and stick it near a decent first aid kit in the rear ... that way we can help mend the wounds of those people that:

1) throw stuff at us due to SUV induced road rage
2) deliberably bang our doors at supermarket carparks
3) coin our cars at night because maccas aint paying them enough for a 1971 nissan datsun let alone an X70
