While I'm not too concerned about gas prices, I will admit to being a bit disappointed in the gas mileage of the X5. I've got a fullsized 2005 Dodge Power Wagon with a 5.7L HEMI that gets 14.5 city and 17.5 highway and it's about as aerodynamic as a brick.

The PW has a curb weight of about 6,800 (as optioned), and I'd guess our X5 is about 5,600 (as optioned, but I haven't weight it yet).

Love the X5, but I guess my expectations from BMW were higher.
