why did they leave that black plastic piece on the side of the rear bumper? No I'm not feeling the continuity with the middle black... completely whacked.

It looks a little like the M-Sport E90.

I think the black plastic was left on the sides (front and rear bumper) so that the look from the black running board carries through to the front and rear when looking at it from the side. I don't mind the back as with all the crap that is thrown up from the rear tires, it provides some protection.

another thing, is it common to see the muffler hanging from the rear like that on the current model? I have the rear aero so never took notice.

Wheel Style #335 and #336 are an interesting take on style# 214 wheels. Still I cannot get over the new front facia (rear is OK to me). Hope the M option (re)moves the fog lights on the front.

Ha! We don't have these in the US...had to do a Google Image search. Complete with 214s:



Seriously, I don't love the fog lights, but will be happy to live with them and get the N55 (versus the naturally aspirated 6 in the current XDrive 30). I'm also jazzed that style 214 is now an option for all models
