This is the first shot I've seen with the fog lights in this configuration. In previous spy-pics, they were either in the lower bumper openings mounted on the cross-bar a la X6, or not present at all. Think they would look OK without the black tape.

We're getting closer!

Those definately are not prototype lights. They definately had the new generation wider light bars. I don't get the rear bumper... I think it looks cheezy and like something thats just going to cost a lot to repair / get completely screwed up if you want to tow.

Fog Lights are reminiscent of the old ML 55, eh?

Here's a close-up. The silver strip has become thin.

For those who are still in doubt about LCI production date check this official press release here

It says production starts April 2010.

Thanks for the nice comments.I like the new front and rear fascia's.....gives the X5 a pretty sporty look IMO.They need to lose the "wart" foglamps.I have to tip my hat to BMW...that psycho camo...does a good job hiding the details.Did not expect the rear to look like it finally turned out,in production form.Thanks. PalBay

the rear bottom looks like they went back somewhat to the E53 with the "unfinished" look near the exhausts... and I'm not talking about the tape. As for the front, I'd like to see it in person first...
