Are they possibly keeping us in the dark because the ttv8 represents a substantial power boost over the na 4.8? Thus leaving buyers like us with no desire to buy a 2010, whereas someone cosidering a 6 cylinder may not care 1 turbo or two. Either way this is dirty haha I want to know that my tt will be ready may 1st or ill be forced to move south and get an m3 convertible! Haha jk but seriously

At least they definitely confirm the new model will go into production in April. Really annoying about not confirming anything else though. I can still refuse collection of my X5 and still haven't 100% made up my mind what to do...

Thanks leMansX5 and PalPay for the photos.

Is that black bumper strip (in the front) going to be color painted on the production units or will it just stay like that? It that just tape?

The placement of the front foglights are pretty ugly.

The new rear bumper needs to be completely color painted too.

Fog lights look a little funny! Maybe its the black tape throwing the look off.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were right.

My theory is that BMW is trying to hold back as much info as posisble against the competition. Saw on Edmunds's Inside line that Mercedes is working on turbos for their ML's. The later the information comes out, the less time the competition will have to adjust to it.

Those definately are not prototype lights. They definately had the new generation wider light bars. I don't get the rear bumper... I think it looks cheezy and like something thats just going to cost a lot to repair / get completely screwed up if you want to tow.

Fog Lights are reminiscent of the old ML 55, eh?

This is the first shot I've seen with the fog lights in this configuration. In previous spy-pics, they were either in the lower bumper openings mounted on the cross-bar a la X6, or not present at all. Think they would look OK without the black tape.

We're getting closer!

Here's a close-up. The silver strip has become thin.
