Locked myself out today ... even with comfort access!
I had posted earlier how the car keeps beeping lock/unlock when washing at the car wash. A couple of people suggested leaving the key fobb inside the vehicle to avoid this, and I guess it makes sense.
Well today at the car wash it did the same thing. So I quickly opened the door, threw the key fobb on the driver's seat and shut the door as I was washing the car. As I did this, I heard a beep, and I thought oh crap! Sure enough all the doors had locked!  Of course my cell phone was in the car too. Had to call my wife from a pay phone and wait for the second key fobb while others waited in line giving me dirty looks! Even my wife wondered over the phone how I locked myself out and thought it wasn't possible... well I guess it is!

You need to set this up on forehand online, with a few safety questions.

I didn't even think to call BMW assist. My wallet, phone etc was all in the car! The first instinct was to call home as I was only a few blocks away at the car wash. Just want to let you guys know this CAN happen (if you're in a hurry) and prevent others from doing the same...
