There is another possibility. Did you check the drivers door lock? if you use the key and hold it to one side or the other it will drop all of the windows and open the sunroof. Are you sure that someone didn't try to break in through the lock?

Hello.. Ive done this twice too.. It happened both times with keys in my pocket along with other stuff.. easily done if your close enough to your car to have the remote work. I miss my push start 325 key much better design.

Happened to me after 4 weeks of ownership...rained all night... think my wife played with her purse with the keys in it...probably push the unlock button without knowing it.
