What was your experience with them? Mod center bore or wheel repairs?

I only found two shops who can mod the center bore. One in Oakland with all the 22" and 24" dude car. And this one had some nice car in the shop and they do wholesale for wheel repair and mod. That 's why i choose them.

It is 3.0 and I installed the arch after put 20" on.

When I brought in an OEM wheel for them to refinish due to some minor rashes and touchup. They fixed the rashes but the paint dried up with some excess paint drip and they said, "that's how we do it"... so I was baffled. they've have been a great wheel repair facility for a LONG time now. I remember when my brother took his wheels to them back in the early 90s...

Wheel adapters

You might also want to consider a non-permanent solution. Try:
BMW 5x120 74mm Center Bore to 72.5mm Center Bore H&R Wheel Adapters 20mm (BMW / E39 / BMW E39 H&R Wheel Adapters)

I have been looking for an East Bay machine shop who can machine out the bore a bit on 18" wheels. Do you have the name for the Oakland shop?

Thanks.

I notice some people say the center bore on E70 wheels should be 74.0mm and some say 74.1mm. Has anyone had a set of wheels bored to 74.0mm and found it was OK? If so, then I guess 74.0mm is correct.

The correct CB size is 74.1mm.

It's critical to bore to the right size and with the appropriate tolerance (preferably 0.001 of a mm) because BMW wheels are hub-centric. The fact that the other BMW CB diameter is 72.56, tells you that the tolerance should be 0.001 of a mm ...
