Anyone has using geico auto insurance?

Because my Allstate insurance seems too expansive,so I am thinking to swith to Geico. Anyone have experience with Geico?

For reference, Geico gave the estimate price that half of the Allstate in my area (NYC), but without accident waiver program which I don't think I will need it anyway.( NO accident last 12 years)

I went from Geico to Allstate here in NY actually. Geico got too expensive year after year and Allstate came in a couple hundred below. I think it's normal that you get better prices switching around. Geico had good service all around though.

I was happy with allstate when I was in Smithtown Longisland, but I moved to Queens 3 month ago, and insurance went up too much.
It look like not too bad for the x5, but my S550 has gone up like crazy.

Anyway, where do you get service your x5? I have been to smithtown bmw and hassel bmw. I am not sure where to go for service since no bmw service satisfy me like mercedes dealer. I have clicking noise from A/C(known as stepper motor noise), whining noise when the A/C or heater is on, steering wheel plastic peels off, rattle from driver side A-pilllar, hood is rattling, transmission jerk problem..so on...It seems to me that service advisor look at me like " YOU asking me too much " . Do you recomend any service in our area? or advisor?

^ I brought it back to Hassel again this morning actually... they are the only ones who would give me a loaner (since I bought it from them) because it'll be there for more than 1 day. They are rated one of the highest in the state (the only one in our area on the list), but I have had an experience with them where they scratched my car badly (could've been a valet)... at least they fixed it. I followed CMYX6GO's advice and bought my new service advisor some munchkins to sweeten him up... funny thing is he told me he LOVES munchkins as I handed it to him so... his name is Peter (you can find him if you schedule service online: http://www.hasselbmw.com/Schedule-BM...-New-York.aspx ). Along with the annual maintenance, I too brought it in for the steering wheel plastic peeling... the transmission jerk should be better after an idrive update for you.

Wow, I almost made trip to Hassel today. But moved to tommorow. I had to speak service manager because of the appointment issue. Anyway, I am going in tommorow. I also bought the car from Hassel, and Hassel seems more professional in their work compare to smithtown, but my advisor just seems not friendly as smithtown bmw advisor. It could be his personality. I am not saying he is rude. If I don't get good service this time, I think I might change the advisor to peter.
P.S. Do you also wait long time for appointment with loaner? Average wait time for loaner with mercedes is abouut a week and Hassel seems more than 3 weeks.

Hopefully your service advisor woes are over. Let me know how it works out.

yes it was 3 weeks for me but I had to wait for my annual maintenance month anyway. If you don't request a loaner, you can get an appt within a week. Who was your old advisor? I have used most of them by now... 2 people aren't even there anymore... strange for a top service dealership.

My advisor was Paul at the first time, since he left, it changed to Mark.

Try calling Allstate and telling them that you received a much lower quote. It worked for me with Progressive.
