Good one!

I use a bottle jack and jack using the predetermined and marked jacked points on the vehicle. In Alberta, winter tires are a must, so swapping summers to winters and back again is a routine thing here.

Like this:

CRAFTSMAN®/MD Bottle Jack - Sears - Sears Canada

The bottle jack easily jacks the X up and allows a real easy swap over. Be certain to torque to correct ft. lbs (101).

This is such a PITA. I mean it is really hard to find 3 other guys, who will help with the 'synchronized jacking' AND not drink all your beer before you can get the tires swapped.

Funf, you are spot on, I have 4 buddies who play in the NFL pick up the car while I use my beer opener to pop off the lugs, prevents them from drinking all the beer, anywayz they don't have much to do now that the season is almost over.

And you are NOT going of offer the FunfDreisig synchronized-jack system, consisting of four bottle jacks connected to a central jacking handle mounted on a 4' X 8' sheet of Dark Burl Walnut plywood?

Will you quit leaking top secret Funf Dreisig AG development plans Besides that was just a mock-up we floated to unearth the mole.

The real Funf Dreisig Synchronized-jack System for Dummies will incorporate lasers, ceiling mounted mirrors (not for what you are thinking) and remote control via the new ultra cool iPhone/iPad interface.

You need to be careful bro'. Those NFL lugs will eventually realize that anyone who can, and will, remove the wheels on THEIR X5 with a beer can opener, probably is not wasting space storing stuff like torque wrenches and sockets in that big fancy tool chest And when they do, those visits to the BMW dealer will seem cheap compared to reconstructive surgery
