06 X5 4.8is to 2011 3.0?
I plan on driving both the 5.0 and 3.0 this week. The cost of fuel and the vehicle itself (any my wife) are leaning towards the 3.0. Coming out of the 4.8is I'm leaning towards the 5.0.
I know the 0-60 times are the same (somehow) as my old X5 and the new 3.0 and I'm sure that is where it ends - the V8 will walk away after 60 MPH I'm sure... So.. Do I do the "right" thing and pull the trigger on the V6 or just say F*#K it and go with the V8 - shudda had a V8 right!?!? Then again, if I go for the V8 my wife may pull a trigger.. Side note.. We have 2 babies - one is 2 and the other is 1.. And, my 335i convertible is going in order to make space for the new X!  Anyone have any words of wisdom for this almost 40 year old guy? Will the 3.0 keep me somewhat happy?  (Actually laughing at myself).. Thanks fellas..
