elrey21 is on a distinguished road
Hey everyone im Manny from NYC

New to the forum. New to BMW. New to New Cars Period.
Soon to be owner of a New 2012 X5 xDrive35i Sport Activity

Sold my Infiniti FX45

Was looking for a Pre-Owned 2008-09 4.8i Sport Fully Loaded @ about $40-45K in White: This vehicle is extremely hard to come by. Found one in PA that sold for 43k before i Was ready to buy with all options and only 30,000 miles but like I said I wasnt ready at the moment and could not jump on it, since then 2 months, I have not found another vehicle that fits the bill.

I spoke to a sales guy and another sales guy and finally another sales guy in NJ who told me that he could have me paying on a lease more or less what im looking to pay through financing. Needless to say I was convinced and surprised at how "inexpensive" a brand new vehicle is compared to a Pre-Owned only $10-15K difference with many upgrades. After 2 days of talking and me browsing this forum im happy to say I made a deal last friday, put a deposit and ordered my X5

Alpine White/ Cinnamon interior
Conv Package
Running Boards
Premium HiFi
BMW Apps
MSRP $63,425

I honestly thought that was gonna be the price until I found this forum and found that even a brand new car has wiggle room for negotiation. He got me the vehicle for a price of $59,310 only $440 above the stated Invoice Price, even though I know its not really what they get it for. But I still think its a pretty good deal and he was able to meet my Monthly Payment Maximum over 3 years @ 10,000 miles, Needless to say I probably plan on purchasing it in 3 years unless the new model is a Huge improvement. Overall im happy you guys are so insightful, I dont know what i would have done with my infiniti if I didnt have help from the guys infinitifx.org.

Speaking of which, Are you allowed to modify the car if you lease, Im thinking about adding the LCI Aero Package, they sell it on eBay out of NJ for under MSRP, M Package Roof Rails, BMW Performance Pedals, and a set of HID's in the fog lights.
