Who. Gives. A. Shit?

Seriously guys, you really feel the need to comment over and over and over about how worthless the poll is? If it's so worthless then why bother wasting the time to post?

I do not think income has ANYTHING to do with vehicle choice. It was a simple idea and I took action. Period.

Stop looking into it so damn much. Jeeze.

I love you, still.

Keep up the good work! You started a popular thread so you got that going for you. Which is nice. I personally enjoyed this thread.

your income will go up if you stop caring what everybody else is making or driving and start figuring out how to get there yourself..

Based upon my observations and the high number of folks at this forum trying to find every conceivable way to finance a new car purchase, I sense a disconnect between stated income and reality.

Strictly my opinion,
Dick

Not sure I see a correlation between income and the desire to finance the purchase of a new car. Is it your opinion that those who make a decent living don't finance purchases?

I don't care how liquid you are. I like to feel I beat the dealer into submission before driving off the lot Sometimes the rates make financing logical.

Exactly. I am no expert but I would bet the discounts are better when you finance.

I make enough to live an upper middle class life style in NYC, save a little and buy a X5 50i. I can tell you that for a family of 4, the $150k+ number will just get you into middle class.

I will be happy when my wife goes back to work.
