'07 owners, did you extend your warranty?
Still battling the decision since I want to keep this car for a while. I have until January to make the decision on my 08. How have you guys faired as far as fixes needed throughout ownership and did that contribute to your decision?
Would you do $3k for an additional 5 years (reputable company)? Sounds good for value but I'm just as inclined to bank that 3k and only use it when things happen... Another factor is mileage vs. time. I do very little miles but things like sensors probably break over time rather than mileage... true? Since those are not mechanical, the repairs may not be as high... I would ask the e53 owners, but it's a different technological beast.
