is DIY wheel change difficult?

hi there so i bought used non sport 18" style 210s with brand new scorpion ice+snow tires for $1850. i have a pair of 2 ton hydraulic jacks so i figure i can DIY the wheel change come winter cuz it will be quicker than going to a shop.

i think 1 jack might not be enough so when i do the left side i can use both jacks to jack up the left, then repeat with the right side.

wheel change is pretty simple right? just jack up car, wheels off, then winter wheels on. what's the torque for the wheel nuts? i have a torque wrench.

Thanksss!!!

incredibly easy. just make sure you put the jack in the right spots (check owners manual for correct location).

Yes, those are the wear bars.. may be time for new tires

How'bout trying the Search Tab for your current batch of questions...it is a good exercise, and there is a near encyclopedic wealth of info to be found via Search Tab. We are enabling laziness, and 'let them do it', imo.

The only difficulty may be loosing up lugnuts (if they've been previously subject to impact wrenches of tire installers/safety inspectors/etc.).

And oh, each 18" wheel is ~30kg, so do some stretching before

We need and use This Forum, because at the top of the page, 2nd blue border down, third tab from the right is an area called 'Search', with a drop down tab. Drop down, plug in the key word(s), and you will obtain pages of threads on almost any topic.

I was not pitching GOOG; I was pitching the volume of info and good opins that are to be found in This Site's Search Tab.

Did someone give you all the answers you needed throughout school, and in your work?
Good Luck...

Nice bait...I tossed you some help in your 'what wheel is this' thread.

I feel that a few posters come on here and expect the 'librarians' to offer up answers to any/all questions that can easily be found via Search.

My personal life could not be better.
