iDrive software updates

Hi,

We have a 2007 E70 3.0d SE with the media package. I have recently taken delivery of an F10 5 Series and the iDrive software is a lot more intuitive. Are any upgrades or updates available for the E70 that take it beyong 2007?

You can upgrade the hardware to the new I-drive...but no software-only upgrades that will change it dramatically to the new CIC based level.

Cost is pretty significant....but there are vendors

Thank you both. We have the car on a personal lease so we can't make any significant mods so,it will have to stay as it is unless we buy it outright in 2 years.
