Aerodynamic kit (replica) installed this weekend
Wanted to share my weekend DIY with folks.
I purchased an aftermarket replica kit on eBay after reading several writeups and reviews from members. Aero Kit = $300 Paint = $300 BMW hardware (additional) = $20 PDF instruction found on this forum Total Time = 3 hours It took me 1.5 hours for each front and rear. Fit and finish looks great to me for a replica kit, but I do suggest getting the BMW clips with self taping screws as the one provided just don't fit right. 16 clips and 20 self tapping screws from Tisher, look them up on RealOEM. You can use the supplied tapping screws for anything else that don't need to be secured into the BMW clips. Pretty simple DIY and overall fun project to do ![]() ![]() Additional BMW hardware (must have for replica) Left is BMW/ right is supplied aftermarket ![]() Front: ![]() ![]() Rear: ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by balx5; 03-30-2013 at 01:35 AM. |
