Correct. The 780nM i spoke of is based on a custom real-time tune conducted on a rolling road/dyno as opposed to a re-flash tune (eg Bluefin Superchip) which are a bit more conservative.....which is again opposed to a plug-in interceptor box....which often just raises fuel rail pressure as ard points out.
Pretty much can price them in the same order. Custom tune being most expensive, flash tune being middle ground, interceptor being cheapest.
There is a guy on the Uk forum xdriver named Jason who specialises in diesel tunes, especially X5's. He can remote tune your car based on data logging that you provide. I'd have a chat to him.
