I just replaced the seal in my vehicle . Right hand drive E70 2008. it took me about 1.5 hours from jack up to jack down.

1. passenger side wheel off
2. remove the little plastic bit where the drive shaft is
3. remove the thermostat housing .

I can imagine the difficulty for LHD vehicles
