Thanks, LeMans. Appreciate the reviews. Seems they are more positive lately. Definitely can't wait for them to arrive this week.

The wife has been looking for a new vehicle to abuse. Her words " I'd like a car that has the ride height of an SUV". We looked at the:

Audi Q7 - nice, but to mini van like,

Porsche Cayenne - both of us were shocked on how bad the interior quality was and the ride was awful, No Thanks..

Mercedes Benz ML -not bad, but not a big Benz fan

Infiniti - no thanks, even though they have a wonderful service dept.

Caddy Escalade - to big, I actually didn't hate this SUV, like I thought I would. Odd.

BMW X5 - she loved this vehicle, but the salesman mentioned the X6 was coming.

So it looks like a X5 or and X6, V8. Waiting on the X6 to arrive. To compare.

X6 35i is at dealers now. X6 50i TT V8 will arrive late summer.

I was told Thursday by my dealer that the X6's were going to have a "short delay." Not sure how long this means but he indicated it was on a national basis.

The dealers have 35i demos now. But they are taking orders.

All we need to do is decide if she likes the look. Dealer told me that X6 V8's would be out hopefully sometime in July. Thanks..

I own a 2007 X5 and was waiting for the X6 to determine my buying decision for 2009.

I sat in one at the dealers(none available for test drive) and at this point the X5 is my choice. Wish I could I could buy both but need the utility and visability of the X5.
