I think you are the only one in this forum to get P900 series to work with your UFL. Is their anyway you can pull out your UFL out to see the model number? Sorry for asking, sure would like to know. My P910i will not work with my UFL. Thanks!!! ps I just bought a P990i from e-bay; should be here by Thursday.

I managed to pair the p990 with the X5 tonight I did not get any phone book transfer or text messages, but did make a couple of calls and that all worked ok. When you get a incoming call did display caller number on the Nav screen.

update p990 phonebook transfer
ok been driving around for a week or so with my p990 and it works great with the bluetooth in everyway except these two. phonebook transfer around 6 out of ten times dont know why it fails the other times maybe a certain program etc is running when i get in my car that prevents that. the sms messages so far have never tranfer and it still is retaining the ones from my old w800 that i have.
the phone is a great phone. i hope the can solve the software issues so it runs better and i hope i can get 3g to work here in the usa as i here the freq might be a little off for the t mobile network. |

actually, it's not even the data speeds that are bothering me the most with my p990 - it won't hold a connection to my X3's bluetooth (though my X3's bluetooth works with other phones i have). from a few other forums, i've gathered that it's not compatible with all bmw bluetooth modules - consider yourself lucky that it works with yours! i have to use a bluetooth headset in my X3. i didn't think that would bother me at first, but i really miss the handsfree calling in my X3 without messing with a headset. i've got my fingers crossed that the treo will work! and then my p990 will most likely take a trip courtesy of ebay.
