Easy test for the voice commands is to push and hold the face button till the system beeps. Say "Dial Phone" and see what happens. If you hear a voice say "Please speak the number" you'll know you have voice commands. Follow the instructions in the manual found on the front page of X5world website. It works well.
A friend has the same issue you report with his Windows Mobile 5 PDA phone (Verizon XV6700) not transferring all of his contact list. It only transferred the first ten contacts. I'll have him check out this jetware. That might be an answer for him.

Thanks!
Thanks everyone for the replies! I downloaded the jetware and so far it seems to have fixed the problem. My phonebook was downloaded to the car and I was able to make and receive calls. Thanks again!
I think I may have spoke too soon. After I finally got it to work and I went back to the vehicle a few hours later the phone once again will not pair or transfer the phone book. It seems that if I delete the BT partnership from the phone then turn on the car, my phone says that the vehicle wants to connect with it, I say yes, then re-enter the 4 digit key it will pair and transfer the phonebook again. I shouldn't have to do that every time I get in the car, should I? Any ideas about this? Thanks again! Last edited by Skip110; 02-21-2008 at 12:37 AM. Reason: Maybe I spoke too soon... |
