This is the mode you want to get into

I remember that when I first installed my BT system I had a very difficult time getting into the pairing mode as well. After letting the vehicle sit for a while and then going back and trying again I was finally successful - http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...ticle&artid=26

One difference I see on my screenshot from yours, is that you have an icon that looks like a small triangle with speaker sounds coming from it at the bottom of the screen. Mine doesn't have that. It may mean nothing. I'll keep trying.

Thanks.

I think that's just a symbol indicating that I have the option set in my OBD to give me a reminder message at the top of the hour. Not BT related

The only other thing I can think is there may be something wrong with the "limited access pairing button". That is what initiates the pairing process

The one thing that tells me it's working is that when the ignition is on and I depress the button, I hear a beep and it turns on the voice recog. If I push it again, it says "system off".

yup.. the ULF is not in discoverable mode until you see the bluetooth pairing screen.

Thanks in advance,
