This is the mode you want to get into
I remember that when I first installed my BT system I had a very difficult time getting into the pairing mode as well. After letting the vehicle sit for a while and then going back and trying again I was finally successful - http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...ticle&artid=26

The only other thing I can think is there may be something wrong with the "limited access pairing button". That is what initiates the pairing process

ahhh! that's your problem... hit and hold the pairing button BEFORE turning on the ignition to acc 2.

yup.. the ULF is not in discoverable mode until you see the bluetooth pairing screen.

I'm am having the same exact problem tonight. I cannot get my NAV screen to show "BLUETOOTH PAIRING"
