By all means buy a TCU, but get a late model CDMA one from the US. Not the Euro GSM one that I bought. The USA ones seem to be easy to get going. However I can document the pin changes for your cables to convert from BIT-II to TCU on the plug that connects to the unit. The Wiring in our AUS/NZ cars is a little different
