Tom, I have I think an original Dice module but with the USB based charging end on it. It worked fine until the fuse blew recently, I replaced the fuse. Audio and related functionality are fine but no longer charges my iPhone 4. Any ideas?

I am trying to find the correct model DICE for my vehicle but getting a little confused.
I have the 06 X5 e53 - it has CD changer in the rear which I understand it needs to be disconnected and plugs used for DICE system I have the NAV system, no DSP, no digital radio etc - Ipod is a Nano 8gb (latest model) I dont need any bluetooth capability as I already have the BMW bluetooth for my phone. I also have the BMW factory Ipod system which wont charge the latest Ipods hence wanting to upgrade. Can anyone help with the model/specs etc of the DICE module I need to order? Lots of them on Ebay but as Im in Aus and they are all overseas I want to be sure I get the correct one and dont really want to pay for all the extra's that I will never need. Cheers

The BMW iPod system will need to be removed and wiring returned to stock. Afterwards, any of the trunk interfaces can be used: eas - 714.369.8524 | DICE - MediaBridge iPod/iPhone Multimedia Hub for e53 X5 (Trunk Interface) eas - 714.369.8524 | DICE - Silverline DUO iPod Integration Kit for e53 X5 (Trunk Interface) Both kits install the same, only differences are within the features.

I have installed the DICE silverline Duo but I dont get any sound, just a bit of crackling etc, songs show up on dash etc.
I removed the original BMW Ipod module, do I need to remove any other wires/connectors back to the radio? Thx

If an OEM BMW iPod was in place - verify all factory wiring is returned to stock before installing the DICE kit.

Installing a duo in my wife's '08 X3. I located the wires under the center console; there are TWO six pin connectors. One of them is labeled 'CD'; I get no sound when I use this one. The other is unlabeled. When I use it, I get sound.....from the right speakers only. Any tips? Thanks.
EDIT: a little more on this problem. when i select ipod mode, the radio displays TEL in the lower left corner & SEND/END on the right, like i'm in telephone mode. The audio adjust controls (fade, treble, etc) are all disabled. i double checked my three wire connector and the brown wire is on the end (not the center). when i select FM after this, it appears TEL mode stays selected. if i remove the key, remove the iphone & insert key, it goes back to normal.
