Tom,
Loving my Dice so far but had a scare a day ago. I pluged in my iPod and the text was stuck. The song stopped and the iPod was not recognized. When I disconnected the iPod the text was still stuck. No matter what I did (switch from CD to Radio to Aux) nothing helped. I turned off the X and started it back but still stuck. When I got to my destination, turned off X and returned about 45 min later....IT WORKED! Whew! But I just want to know have you heard of these symptoms yet with the dice? Hopefully it does not happen again but it did seem to reset after turning the engine off and waiting a while.

Sir, your X3 won't have them in the rear. I believe your plugs are under the carpet under the center console.

X3s have been a bit more work than the other BMWs.

The connections will depend on if you X3 is prewired for Sirius or not. The Sirius prewired models (SA693) have the connections in the cargo area on the driver's side.

The non-Sirius prewire models have them underneath the storage bin in the center console:

Feel free to contact me directly if you should have any questions.

Tom,

Will the DICE midule fit under the center storage bin in an '06 X3, or will I need to keep the module in the storage bin itself?

Is the ICE>Link module/connection any different? (I would rather get the DICE fore its better display and use options).

My X3 is prewired for Sirus, but I do not have Serius installed, so I was going to tap into the wiring under the armrest storage bin in the center console. I want to avoid having to install it in the rear cargo area.

Thanks!
