I find if I leave my car for a few hours, when I return the same track is still ready to play but when I select the (2 on the radio) for playlists it reverts back to the first playlist, not where I am currently.
Is this the norm, cause I find it really frustrating as I have over 100 playlists saved.
That is a LOT of playlists. Normally, others do not have that many.

So is that the cause?

No need to post the same question in different forums. I would recommend contacting DICE to get a direct answer.

I saw it was mentioned that there is currently no iPod video playback integration, but given that the iPod dock is capable of video output, and the BMW NAV deck is capable of video input, wouldn't it just be some good ole R&D to make it work? It seems easy enough, although maybe the integration has some hurdles I haven't considered...

I really want this feature and an off the shelf solution seems like it would be very popular given the saturation of iPhones and iPod videos etc over the past couple of years.

I'm sorry, I thought if I asked more than just one person I might get a varied / less limited response. I didn't realise that you owned both the BMW forums I posted my question in...

At an increased cost in order to do so for a video driver and switching device.

We do have kits that will allow for this, but the DICE does very good at simply playing music from your iPod, allowing you to keep your hands on the steering wheel.

Which kit would allow for it? I would love to maintain the music capabilities of the DICE kit, but if it could include video it would be that much better. Even at a cost premium it would be a wonderful solution.

That would be the VSM kit offered here: eas - 714.369.8524 | eas - Video Source Module (VSM) for BMW - Core System

So in other words, I could use the DICE kit for music, but if I want video I would have to use an additional 30-pin a/v cable for an analog connection to the VSM kit?

Or would audio go through the DICE AUX input?

Sorry for all the questions but the video playback is something I would use quite a bit and integrating it completely would be ideal.

Correct on all counts. Audio from the A/V cable would go to the DICE's AUX port.
