Yeah I see what your saying. I got my IceLink from Tom, and he told me I had the latest and greatest firmware available. He most definitely knows his stuff so I'm certian it's something I'm doing incorrectly on my end. I'm looking on DensionUSA's website and I don't see my firmware version listed. I'll keep looking.
Oh Yeah, I'm looking at the owners manual and it keeps refering to iPod play lists. Is it required to have your music cataloged in a play list in order to have text picked up on the NAV? Thanks! Last edited by cwilliams21; 09-03-2005 at 10:03 AM. |

Thanks for the firmware!! I reflashed the firmware but as I do, it tends to stops at mp3 #159 out of 581. I attempted it twice with the same result..Is that normal? I would imagine it would go all the way up to 581.
Thanks again! |

1) Turn on iPod (do not connect to ice>Link). 2) Scroll over to the Start_update.mp3 file. This is usually in the Music>Genres>_Config>All>Update folder. 3) PLay the specified file, it is 0:59 seconds long, the iPOd will need to be connected to the ice>Link within this time. 4) Turn the key to the "on" position and select CD Changer/iPod mode 5) Connect iPod. 6) DO NOT DISCONNECT the iPod or turn off the radio while in the updating process, this will take about 5 minutes to complete, it will reboot the iPod when completed. The tracks will count from 1 to 99 in this mode as well. Let me know if you need additional assistance! |
