Mine actually just popped off one day when closing the door. There were like 5 to 6 little pins that should be just pressfit. Take a small and wide flathead screwdriver and just walk your way around the perimeter of the grill, should pop right off. If you happen to break the tabs, then I guess your only option is to either replace it or throw a couple dabs of superglue on there and stop being so curious
