This actually works for me. If I hold the voice command button down on my steering wheel it brings up the "say a command" menu on my Android phone. From here I can voice dial numbers or names and it automatically calls and connects.
On a side note, I'm also using a program called Setting Profiles, which starts Pandora as my BT connects to the MediaBridge and kills it once disconnected. It really takes my smartphone/bluetooth to the next level! I just keep my phone in my pocket and everything works perfectly.
Also for those installing the microphone in the future, I found that installing it on top of the rear view mirror is both discrete and very functional. I wanted to install it in the location of the OEM microphone, but the OEM plastic grill limits all sound going into the supplied DICE microphone. On top of the mirror is almost entirely out of sight and my callers say I am very audible. I'll upload a picture in a bit.
