For us MAC guys, change the .MDF to .ISO and use toast to mount the disk image. Then copy that Disk image to a new CD.

I have this feeling that right now BMWAG is reading this thread and laughing at how easy and cheap is to find Beta testers for their software all over the world...

For sure .... perhaps with all this customer interest from all over the world (this is spreading across the net at a fever pitch, just since yesterday evening) this new feature will make final production.

Also, hows the re-coding coming Technic ?

Does anybody from Germany already did the update successfully?

Regards from Germany.
Language support should never be a problem. Every updated I have ever seen has all of the male and female supported languages in the MDF file:

D - German
E - Spanish
F - French
I - Italian
NL - Dutch?
GB - British English (which I use)
USA - US English
RUS - Russian

By using a Trial Version of UltraISO (http://www.ezbsystems.com/ultraiso) you can open the image file and go into the V_2/Voices/0506 directory.

There you will see all of the language files usa_m.csf (USA Male Voice) etc. Since US English seems to be a menu choice regardless of region, simply rename usa_f.csf to usa_f.bak. Then rename the language you desire, for example rus_f.csf, to usa_f.csf.

Save the file, burn the image to CD and do the installation routine. Once done, choose USA as your language and the desired voice (in this case Russian) will play.

Thanks to the guys on the MINI board for explaining this to me.

yes, the patch must be burned to a CD. then loaded into the
DVD drive for installation. once installed, it is removed and the
DVD map is inserted back into the DVD Drive.
