How long does it take before the splash screen is shown again? What I mean is, after doing this modification, the Nav performed a reboot. Once it was back, I saw my new splash screen. However, shutting the car off and waiting a few minutes doesn't seem to bring it back. It just goes straight to the menu or map. Beedeeman told me on another forum that the car must sit for some time, and then the splash screen returns when you open the door or switch on the ignition. Question is, how long is that length of time? I wanted to show my wife the mod today, and when it didn't work, she looked at me funny.
