Very nice find. Would it be possible to post more pictures of the screen - perhaps one in 3D mode, and one showing the version number?

The display of birdview is not different than with T26.09a but faster.
Please be patient. T26.09a crashed a lot of MK4 after a while.
Will this new version display street names in perspective mode? I'm really missing that feature from my v26...

Awesome! Can't wait. I hope the splash mod can be done with this one.

Does v27 support new dvd map format ?

Hello,

wondering if v27 is also adding the support for the latest dvd map...

btw, with v26.09A the TMC doesn't work...

Any idea ?

Why shouldn´t the newest DVD be supportet??? I have the 2006-1 & it works fine...
TMC works with the hacked version (http://www.xoutpost.com/navigation-sy...g-north-4.html) btw: I wouldn´t use only the V26.09A.....

Hello Minister,

I do have an MKiv and the EU 2005-2 has the following tree structure (just reporting root folder):

Volume in drive D is NAV_DB
Volume Serial Number is xxxx-xxxx
Directory of D:\
14/02/2005 12.51 39 BIBLIOGR
14/02/2005 12.51 828 ABSTRACT
14/02/2005 12.51 873 COPYRIGH
14/02/2005 12.51 750.592 CARINET
14/02/2005 12.51 <DIR> DB
14/02/2005 12.51 <DIR> TPD
4 File(s) 752.332 bytes

while the EU 2006-1 (which perfectly works on latest 3 Series (MKv ?) but not on mine) is:

Volume in drive D is CD_5130
Volume Serial Number is xxxx-xxxx
Directory of D:\
21/09/2005 08.46 267 cdrom.toc
21/09/2005 15.13 <DIR> config
21/09/2005 15.13 <DIR> db
21/09/2005 15.13 <DIR> dbal
21/09/2005 08.46 1.505 files.cfg
02/09/2005 09.06 2 INFO_MAP.TXT
21/09/2005 15.13 <DIR> telemat
21/09/2005 15.13 <DIR> tpd
3 File(s) 1.774 bytes

So wondering if BMW will provide same maps for MKiv or if v27 will support the new dvd format.

Thanks

ps: about TMC just downloading v26-toggle3d...

Hi Sez,

I am pretty sure that the new 3 series has the new navi system - the DVD my mule "found" is the high version - and this has the same structure as your 2005 DVD.

TMC works fine on my X5. It is turned off by default after install, but if you just go into Traffic Information and hit RDS-TMC it turns back on again!

[ QUOTE][i]Original written of ....... [/i ] since 01.03.06 gives it officially the V27 with perspective mode! Configurable in the Navi Servicemenue. Whether this version with the dealers already order does not stand white I. To it can throw thus your T26.09a again there back where it came, into the ton! [/RATIO
